In the case of (a), the value of the blog posting is to attract attention to the fact that a high proportion of ClustrMaps users are Russian-language users with LiveJournal sites, so it seems very useful to mention this and to provide a Russian language translation to help future users to install a ClustrMaps hit counter map widget more easily!
In the case of (b) it is quite similar: we really want a high-quality translation (instead of automatic machine translation) to make the instructions clearer and simpler for our increasing Russian-language audience!

What is this? And this you call the russian language?! I didn’t understand nothing here. It is just words without any connection to each other.
I was hoping that it will be normal manual / F.A.Q. in russian language but this…
I don’t understand this part: (how often current maps are re-tallied,
re-clustered, and re-drawn – bigger users
require slower updates for efficiency). And it is very importan for me to see russian version of this text.
If anyone could help and write down in normal russian language (not computer translation) it will help to many many people.
Yes, we agree 100% about the terrible machine translation: that is precisely why we posted that version, to encourage someone to generate a correct translation that we could use… stay tuned for a better human translation! Our intention is to include the FAQ in Russian also, which will then explain the ‘frequency of re-tallied maps’ etc in a way that will be easier to follow. Many thanks for sticking with us!
