ClustrMaps on MySpace – we are BACK [again] with fresh code! October 22, 2007Posted by ClustrMaps Team in How-to.
[UPDATE: if this seems like an ‘on-again-off-again’ situation, it is! MySpace introduces changes from time to time that affect what you can ’embed’ on your own page, and we want to remain compliant with the MySpace rules, so occasionaly we have to alter the HTML that we supply to ClustrMaps users. So now, even if your ClustrMaps HTML code gets changed automatically by MySpace to something like …. msplinks.com/abc12345… etc, it should still work fine… follow the link below. ]
As of today the code we have supplied is even simpler, and fully MySpace-compliant, and solves a repeated problem of ‘disappearing’ HTML code. Any intervening ‘redirected links’ will still ultimately work correctly. The new code is fine for HTML that specifies any ClustrMaps server – just be sure to copy and paste exactly the code we describe on our ‘ClustrMaps on MySpace’ instructions page.
